Gregory Hills I

Location: Gregory Hills, NSW
Year: 2018 - 2020
Builder: Capri Building Services
Photographer: Clare Oliver

The geometric form ensured that space was maximised, while producing a bold, strong, modern facade. 90-degree angles are seen as being strong structurally, psychologically and spatially. The visual impact of the building highly relies on the balance in composition, the way the lines are ordered and the material choice and execution. As like many of our other designs, geometric shapes and symmetry is utilised, making them distinct and easily recognisable amongst the suburban streetscape.

The client wanted the home to be made of robust materials that would stand the test of time. The home boasts a modern, contemporary style and the use of custom joinery on either side of this hallway creates a grand entrance. These joinery pieces act as services doors to the laundry, powder room and internal access to the garage.
